Important Notice
WHATA COOKIE is a cottage-licensed bakery operated by Jo Blevins and Cindy Blackwell. All products are prepared in a home kitchen that is not inspected for allergens.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the following allergy disclaimer.

Shared Kitchen Environment
All items are made in a kitchen where common allergens are present. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Nuts (including peanuts and tree nuts)

  • Dairy

  • Eggs

  • Wheat and gluten

  • Soy

Because of this shared environment, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free of allergens.

Cross-Contact Risk
While we take reasonable steps to maintain cleanliness and safe food handling practices, cross-contact may occur.
This means that even if an item does not list a specific allergen, it may still come into contact with that allergen during preparation, baking, or packaging.

No Allergen-Free Guarantee
WHATA COOKIE does not offer certified allergen-free products.
We do not operate in a dedicated allergen-free kitchen, and we are unable to guarantee the complete absence of any allergen in our baked goods.

Customer Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the customer to:

  • Inform us of any allergies before placing an order

  • Review all ingredients and product details

  • Determine whether our products are safe for their needs

Customers with severe allergies are strongly advised not to consume our products.

Special Requests
We may be able to accommodate certain ingredient preferences upon request. However:

  • These requests do not remove the risk of cross-contact

  • We cannot guarantee allergen-free results

All special requests are handled with care but are accepted at the customer’s own risk.

Limitation of Liability
WHATA COOKIE is not responsible for any allergic reactions or health issues that may occur from consuming our products.
By placing an order, you agree to release WHATA COOKIE from any liability related to allergic reactions.
