Terms & Conditions

General Policy
By placing an order with WHATA COOKIE, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure clear communication, set expectations, and create a smooth experience for both you and our team.


WHATA COOKIE is a cottage-licensed bakery operated by Jo Blevins and Cindy Blackwell. We proudly serve Corona, Riverside, Jurupa Valley, Eastvale, Chino, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Rialto, and Rosena Ranch.

Deposits & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. Orders are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 5 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery date.

  • If full payment is not received by the required time, your order may be canceled and the date may be released.


Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Any changes to your order, including flavor, size, quantity, or design, must be requested at least 10 days before your event date.

  • We cannot guarantee that changes can be made after this time, especially for custom or large orders.

  • Cancellations:

    • Cancellations made within 10 days of the event are non-refundable.

    • Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • Orders that are not picked up on the agreed date and time will not be refunded.


Delivery & Pickup

  • Pickup details will be provided after your order is confirmed. For privacy and safety, home addresses are not shared publicly.

  • Delivery is available for an additional fee based on distance and location.

  • Once your order has been picked up or delivered, WHATA COOKIE is no longer responsible for any damage.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to transport and store all items properly after pickup or delivery.

  • Please read and follow any care instructions provided with your order.


Custom Designs & Artistic License

  • We work closely with customers to create custom cookies, cakes, and desserts based on their ideas, themes, and inspiration.

  • While we do our best to match design requests, exact replication is not guaranteed due to the handmade nature of our products.

  • Colors, decorations, and final details may vary slightly based on ingredient availability, lighting, and artistic interpretation.

  • By placing an order, you agree to trust our design process and creative judgment.


Allergy Disclaimer

  • All products are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, and other ingredients.

  • We cannot guarantee that any product is completely allergen-free.

  • Customers with severe allergies should contact us before placing an order to discuss their needs.

  • WHATA COOKIE is not responsible for allergic reactions.


Cake Storage & Handling

  • Cakes and desserts should be stored in a cool, dry place or refrigerated as advised.

  • Keep products away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.

  • Once the order has been picked up or delivered, proper storage and handling become the responsibility of the customer.


Photography & Social Media

  • WHATA COOKIE reserves the right to photograph all orders for promotional use, including our website and social media platforms.

  • If you prefer your order not to be photographed or shared, please notify us in advance.

  • If you share photos of your order, we appreciate being tagged on social media.
